Sheep or sleep?

An accountant goes to see his doctor. “Doctor, I hope that you can help me. I’m really having problems going to sleep at night. Now I’m so tired that I can’t concentrate at work,” he says. The doctor suggests, “Well, why don’t you try counting sheep?”

The accountant replies sadly, “That’s exactly what I do. But the problem is that when I make a mistake, I spend the rest of the night trying to find it.”

Seven reasons why alcohol should be served at work.

  1. It gives employees a good reason to be there.
  2. It leads to more honest communication.
  3. It reduces complaints about low pay.
  4. It increases job satisfaction, because if you have a bad job, you don’t care.
  5. It makes the cafeteria food taste better.
  6. It encourages carpooling.
  7. It allows employees to work later, because they no longer need to go to the pub for a drink.
