Describing people using idioms

What's he like?
English-speakers are often indirect when describing people's physical appearance, particularly in work situations. However, you will also hear other not-so-nice expressions in other situations. Over the past few weeks, I've made a note of some of the descriptions I've heard. My colleagues weren't always talking about people at work, at least I hope they weren't, but they were describing people. Would you have known what my colleagues meant? And would you know whether to use the expressions to talk about your colleagues? Find out in our exercise.
