Learning styles and tips (2)
Sie haben nicht jeden Tag stundenlang Zeit, um Englisch zu lernen? Schon weniger als fünf Minuten täglich reichen aus, um Ihre Kenntnisse zu verbessern — mit unserem Word-of-the-Day Quiz.

Five minutes or less for a quiz! Our Word of the Day Quiz is perfect if you don't have much time for learning business English. How does it work? We present you with a word, a phrase or an idiom, and you have to choose which definition is correct. For example, we present the word "counterproductive" and you have to decide if it means:
The correct answer is "tending to cause the opposite of the desired effect". If you select the correct answer, you can choose to see the word in context (see "counterproductive"), and to listen to or download the MP3 file of the word, its definition and an example sentence. If you select the wrong answer, you can try again — or go straight to the word instead. You will need to register as a Premium Member of Business Spotlight Online to download the files in our archive, but you can take the test as a non-member. It's a productive way to spend five minutes of your valuable time — and we can assure you that our Word of the Day Quiz will never be counterproductive. (That's one word you've learned in five minutes!) |
