Ending the call

One of my favourite scenes from the Amercian series Friends
involves ending a phone call. Two characters, who are very much in
love, are talking on the phone. It's time to end the call, but neither
wants to be the one to hang up.
So, they play a kind of telephone tennis. A "You hang up" is answered
with a "No you hang up", followed by a "No, you!", which continues for
several minutes. Finally, one of the other characters gets impatient,
steps in and hangs up for them. Imagine that happening at work!
