First slides
31.05.2011
There's nothing worse than text on a presentation slide that is too small to read — even when you're sitting in the front row. Sometimes, just one word or one image can have a much more powerful and lasting effect than a whole paragraph.
When you do need to write more, divide your ideas up into bullet points — and remember the rule of seven.
Seven is a magic number. There were seven dwarfs. There were Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Anything above seven starts to get tricky. After seven years of marriage, for example, couples often suffer from the seven-year itch.
If you hate writing slides, stick to seven items. We show you two examples of slides in our exercise.
