The UK has many of the same health problems as other European countries. It has a different kind of health insurance to Germany, however. The National Health Service (NHS) is financed through taxes. It provides medical care for everyone, usually free of charge. In our short vocabulary exercise this week, we look at two types of problems: health problems in Britain’s population and general ones with the NHS.
