A brand new Business Spotlight
OUR NEW LOOK: As you may have noticed, Business Spotlight has been given a new face starting with this issue. Our aim remains the same, however: to provide you with relevant, up-to-date and interesting material, so that you can, as our new claim says, improve your business English.
We have a number of exciting new sections in the magazine. These include Good Ideas, in which we look at positive initiatives in both the public and private sectors; The Rivals, in which we contrast two competitors from the business world; Personal Trainer, in which British trainer and coach Ken Taylor provides personalized advice to readers for their communication challenges at work; and In the Zone, in which we look at those parts of life that fall between being “on duty” (at work) and “off duty” (in your leisure time).
"We look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions."
In the relaunch issue, we also look at the increasingly important topic of achieving a healthy work-life balance, and at the potential impact of Brexit on British
universities. We provide intercultural advice for working with people from
Sweden, give tips for the much-neglected area of communicating
ethically at work, test your knowledge of legal English, and look at
the technical language involved in Industry 4.0.
And in our latest Skill Up! booklet, now in a handy new format, we give you language and communication tips for business meetings.
We look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions. You can comment here or write to editor-in-chief Ian McMaster at email@example.com. You can also find out more about the relaunch in Ian's latest blog post.
