The correct answer ispad

If you pad your job application, you can expect to lose your job.

If you pad a job application or your CV, you include false information to make it seem as if you are more qualified than you actually are. If an object is padded, it's covered with something soft to protect it.

"I need to buy a padded case for my computer."

The chief executive of Yahoo, Scott Thompson, has stepped down following accusations that he included a fake computer science degree on his CV. He has been replaced by Ross Levinsohn, the company's head of global media. Following the announcement, Yahoo shares rose 1.7 per cent at the beginning of the week.

A pod is a long, flat part of a plant, such as beans and peas, that contains seeds. The idiomatic expression "like two peas in a pod" means that two things (or people) are very similar.

"Jane and Sarah are like two peas in a pod. They even dress alike."
