Dear Madam,
May I point out to you that you find the famous words 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' in the American Declaration of Independence (1776) and not in the text of the American Constitution.

You are absolutely correct. I'm afraid there was only Robert Gibson, who is British, and Ieva Gaidulis, who is Canadian, in the studio during the recording and neither of them noticed the mistake. Ieva correctly gives the source in our article in the magazine as The American Declaration of Independence (with the correct year, too). In the podcast, she mispoke. What she was trying to say is that American and Canadian societies traditionally have a different worldview. It's very unfortunate that we missed it.
