The topic of our workshop is blended learning and we'll be sharing our
experiences of teaching and learning using technology. There is no
escaping the fact that technology is playing an ever more important
role, not only in the way we learn, but also in our lives in general.

UNITED STATES: The US state of New Jersey has a new plan for dealing with the lack of maths
teachers at the state’s high schools. Out-of-work bankers, stock brokers and other finance experts from nearby Wall Street are being trained to
teach mathematics.
