Procedure
- Write “In the movies” and “In real life” on the board.
- Read out loud the first nine lines of Office Blues (page 11), ending with “all of his workers…”.
- Complete the story by writing for three minutes about what the workers would do in a movie, and then for three minutes about what the workers would do in real life.
- Read the two versions aloud and discuss what movies contain similar scenes (e.g. The Bourne Identity).
- Listen to Kathrin Enke reading her column on track 5 of Business Spotlight Audio.
