- Read the introduction on page 3 of the short story booklet Sweet poison that accompanies this magazine. Discuss James Schofield’s editorial, which gives tips on choosing reading material for learners.
- Together with your student, de- velop a plan to read the short story, for example by tackling one chapter a day or by listening to the audio file of the story, available at www.business-spotlight.de/story
- Homework: ask your student to follow the reading plan.
- Lesson two: ask your student about their learning experience through reading the story. Suggest they use the regular Business Spotlight short stories in a similar way.
