    With the language test in issue 4/19 of Business Spotlight, you can find out how well you know the language of politics. Here, you can do two of the exercises taken from the test.

    The situation: Across the world, politics certainly seems to be getting more polarized. Groups of people with a particular racial, religious, ethnic, social, sexual or cultural identity have been working closer together to focus on their own specific interests. As these groups typically ignore the interests of everyone else, this is a trend that is described as “identity politics” or “tribal politics”.
