    Why we need more nurses

    Where will all the new nurses come from? The ­obvious answer is to get more men involved — 90 per cent of nurses worldwide are women. And that’s not the only idea. Howard Catton, the CEO of the international councilhier: WeltbundInternational Council of Nurses, told the World Economic Forum: “One of the things we should be doing ... is promoting nursing as an alternative career to people who are in sectors where technology may replace a lot of human resources.”
